Activity Tower Systems
Registered climbing, abseiling and access tower systems configured around the activity, access and supervision needs of the site.
A Configurable Climbing and Access Tower
Activity Tower Systems are configurable vertical structures used as climbing towers, access towers or a combination of both.
As climbing towers, they provide dedicated climbing and abseil faces configured to suit participant ability, supervision model and activity outcomes.
As access towers, they provide elevated launch, landing or connection points for systems such as zip lines, Powerfan descents and other supervised vertical activities.
This allows each tower to be configured around its primary operational purpose rather than treated as a generic multi-use structure.
Tower Face Options
Activity Tower faces are selected according to the primary purpose of the tower.
Some towers are configured primarily for climbing and abseil activities, while others are configured as access structures for zip lines, powerfan descents or trail course systems.
Climbing Faces
Climbing tower configurations may include vertical climbing walls, inclined slab walls and overhang walls.
Faces can be configured for 2, 3 or 4 climbers depending on the required capacity and challenge level.
Abseiling Faces
Abseil faces can be configured for two or three participants, supporting supervised descent activities from the tower platform.
Zip / Activity Faces
Configurations provide elevated start, finish or connection points for other activitys.
Options may include zip line starts, zip line finishes, Powerfan faces or access to high ropes trail course.
Entry Face
Entry faces provide controlled access into the tower, with ground-level doors and vertical slats to allow light and visibility through the structure.
Registered Design and OEM Support
Adventure Developments’ Activity Tower is delivered within an OEM framework that includes registered design, structure-specific documentation and lifecycle support.
For operators, this means the activity tower is not treated as a one-off structure, but as an engineered system supported by defined documentation, inspection expectations and long-term OEM knowledge.
This provides a clearer pathway for inspection, maintenance, modification and long-term asset management.
Designed for Real Operation
Activity Tower Systems are designed for clear supervision, efficient participant movement and repeatable operation.
Access, platform layout, activity sequencing, exclusion zones and instructor positions are considered together so the tower can function effectively in real-world camp, school and outdoor activity environments.
The result is a tower configured not only around the activities it supports, but around how those activities will actually be operated.
Selecting the Right Activity Tower System
The right Activity Tower System depends on available space, desired activity mix, participant profile, supervision model, throughput and long-term support requirements.
Some sites require a compact climbing tower with a small number of activity faces. Others require an access tower supporting zip line starts, zip line finishes, Powerfan descents or other connected systems.
Adventure Developments works with clients to determine the most suitable configuration for the site, operation and lifecycle support requirements.
Built to Last. Supported to Continue.
Adventure Developments supports attraction assets with a long-term view of safety, reliability and operational continuity.
For clients seeking structured lifecycle support, we welcome the opportunity to discuss the right framework for their site and systems.
